Delhi Capitals has been doing very well from last 3-4 years. After SHREYASH IYER became the captian of Delhi Capitals in year 2018 Delhi Capitals had started doing their best of all time. In year 2019 Delhi Capitals qualifed into the playoffs. In year 2020 Delhi Capitals reached to the finals for the first time in IPL but their luck didn't work, they lost against Mumbai Indians in the finals. In year 2021 SHREYASH IYER was ruled out due to Injury. In absence of SHREYASH IYER coach RICKY PONTING decided to make RISHAB PANT as new captian of Delhi Capitals , But Unfortunately Delhi Capitals could not qualify to the finals , this time they were knoked out in elemenetor.
